So who better to sing this than the stunning cast of Glee who have showed over a million people all over the world, that not fitting in doesn't make a person bad, just different. And take pride in being different, because people cant make you who you are, only you yourself can!

I can barely conjure up the words to describe this song... a mellow tune, great lyrics and Jake's to-die-for voice... an absolutely charming song to mend every girl in pain... Jake urging his beautiful girlfriend to love herself just the way she is and the same avatar of her which he loves..
Its unbelievable how romantic a voice can be :)

 

Torn...

No one would have failed to notice that Rachel's angelic voice has been cut a little too short in Glee Season 4 so I simply couldn't miss the chance to share this when she sang this beautiful song.
We have all been through that part of life where we think of someone in a certain way but they disprove us completely and often in a disappointing manner... This is the very essence of this song.

My brother reminded me of a great song yesterday.. I first heard it in the most amazing movies of all time- Gone In 60 seconds. :)
Low Rider.. it's a classic and you can totally imagine Nicholas Cage and Angelina Jolie boosting and stealing cars to this :p

Who knew Kanye West could produce a song that would help you get through one of the worst situations in your life in a totally non- cliched, party hard kind of way? It's not a drinking strong, its not even self help or self pity...it's just help!

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.. It may take you a while to fully grasp it and you won't even realise what it taught you.. well... till you finally learn but its a totally amazing song.

As my friend just came an pointed out that the original song is by Kelly Clarkson and Kanye West just did the cover, it'd feel bad if I didn't give Miss Clarkson her due credit. :)

This really cute hindi rom-com released just today and it has this kind-of-non-sensical-but-foot-tapping-beats song which I am quite addicted to. Also, this movie has two of the newest and most charming young actors i.e. Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput <3  I really cannot wait to go watch this movie tonight!!

Vampirism

We are all aware of the background music in the movie based on a pathetic and highly inaccurate interpretation of Vampires i.e Twilight. The song by Christina Perri- A Thousand Years is a sickeningly sweet song for love struck teenagers.. but the Glee version by Marley and Jake oozes out love without the repulsive quality :)

Jake is reaally good looking and Marley is super pretty but the amalgamation of their overt attractiveness with those incredible voices is ethereal!

Trouble!

My best friend is soo addicted to this song and I never really understood why.. Now I can pretty much relate to what she and Taylor Swift were trying to convey. :p

I knew you were trouble.. and naive girls like us really are fond of disregarding the fact and we'd much rather live in the fantasy of a Prince Charming sweeping us off our feet.. Apparently, Taylor is the smartest cuz she figured it out before any of us did :p
My Best Friend is hanging on my neck like a sloth (getting pissed at me) but she also wishes to convey her interpretation so I'll allow her to type:
So my take on this amazing song is that, girls respect and love yourself, and also when you know the person is wrong, you fall for him anyway. STOP!! you deserve better.

Adele v/s Skrillex

The most magnificent singer Adele merging with the hottest thing in the 21st Century- Adele v/s Skrillex.. another version of Set Fire To The Rain comes only when we think, could they get any better? I have been so addicted to this!!

Setting fire to the rain, for me, translates to "doing the impossible" and A and S have done that more than anything.. and proved that the best thing in life can get even better!

Watching the new season of Glee, I stumbled across an episode where the repeat Brittany Spears week. Rachel, now in New York is trying to convince her dance teacher that she can be whatever she tries to be... In her effort, she puts up the most tantalizing version of the Spears's song- Oops! I did it again :)

Rach sure proved she can definitely be sensual :)
 And the way she sings that song is simply amazing!

I ended up watching Burlesque one random night.. As much magic as Christina Auguilera wove onto the screen and in her music, the one thing that truly got to you would be Cher's beautiful and ever poignant version of 'Last of Me'.

This song will give you chills every single time... cuz these feelings reverberate in every note of her voice :)
